Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using Tamp&Timbre, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tamp&Timbre. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

These terms incorporate our Privacy Policy by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

What the Service Is

Tamp&Timbre is a coffee note-taking app with voice input. The service allows you to:

• Log and organize your coffee brews
• Use voice transcription to capture brew details
• Parse spoken notes into structured recipe data using AI

Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You may only have one account per person
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised

Your Content

You own your brew notes, ratings, and all data you input into Tamp&Timbre. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This license ends when you delete your account.

We do not use your content for marketing or promotional purposes without your explicit permission.

AI-Powered Features

Tamp&Timbre uses artificial intelligence for voice transcription and recipe parsing. These features are provided for convenience but may not always be accurate.

• AI-generated transcriptions and parsed recipes should be reviewed before saving
• You are responsible for verifying that AI outputs are correct
• AI features are provided "as is" without any guarantee of accuracy

Acceptable Use

When using Tamp&Timbre, you agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Abuse the API or attempt automated access beyond normal app usage
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may also terminate accounts or discontinue the service for any reason with reasonable notice.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Tamp&Timbre available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance or updates
• Technical issues or outages
• Third-party service disruptions (our infrastructure providers include Supabase and Cloudflare)

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when possible.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app.

• When you request deletion, your account enters a 14-day grace period
• During this period, you can cancel the deletion by signing back in
• After 14 days, your account and all data are permanently deleted
• This deletion is irreversible

Intellectual Property

The Tamp&Timbre app, branding, and code are owned by Tamp&Timbre. Your license to use the app is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

This license does not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand elements.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tamp&Timbre and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data or content
• Inaccurate transcriptions or AI outputs
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service (for a free service, this amount is zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on applicable statutory rights of a consumer, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tamp&Timbre and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, New York.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, nothing in these terms affects your rights under mandatory local consumer protection laws.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the app.

Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we may require you to re-accept the terms before continuing to use the service.

U.S. Government Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Mobile App Distribution

If you download Tamp&Timbre from the App Store or Google Play, the following additional terms apply:

• These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Tamp&Timbre, not with Apple or Google
• Tamp&Timbre, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the app and its content
• Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app
• Apple and Google have no warranty obligations, except as required for refunds under their respective policies
• Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app
• Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you
